Big boy now

David, although technically immobile, can still move around alot with his strong chubby little legs:) He was scooting up in his craddle so much that he was ramming his head against the railing. Once, he wiggled so much that he somehow got underneath his blanket roll and wedged his leg between the railing. Yikes, poor little guy! So, feeling simultaneously excited and sad, Peter and I put David's craddle away and he slept in his crib last night. If he was starting to look big in his craddle, he looks TINY in that gigantic crib! He must like it, though, because he slept the best he has slept in weeks, even sleeping in later this morning! I'm more than ok with that:) He also has almost completely abandoned his pacifier for a better companion, his thumb. In fact, he makes a "what is THAT?" face now when he tries his pacifier. It'll be nice for Peter and me if David weans himself off that thing;) I took David swimming last week for the first time. He was ultra cute in his little swimmer diaper. He's not old enough to fully appreciate it yet, but he didn't complain. He was fine when the little girl we went with was splashing around. He'll be in the lap lanes before you know it:)

Well, it definitely looks like he will be able to stay in his crib for a good while!!! But in actuality, it may not seem all that long before he's figured out a way to crawl over the railings and escape!

He looks snug as a bug in a rug in his new crib!
