David had his 4 mo. checkup about a week and a half ago. He was 10 lbs. 9 oz. and 22 3/4 in. long. The little crease on his wrist is getting quite fierce, and as his Aunt Ruru said, this will be the only time in his life when that is cute! I took a photo shoot of David with his new Winnie the Pooh friends from Irene. As with most new things, he was trying his best to figure them out with a determined eyebrow. Our newest adventure is trying to be involved with church stuff in the evenings now that David doesn't fall asleep so well just anywhere. We may have to each start going every other week. Also, Grandma Elvi and Aunt Amy found David a summer hat with a brim. So, I can take him out in his stroller without the sun blazing on his little face. I've run a couple of times with him. He does great with me huffing and puffing and barely moving behind him!:) We are excited to try camping with him this summer and may initiate him over the 4th of July weekend. I'll make sure to let you know how that goes!

Of course, we love any picture of the grandson, but Amy and I particularly like the last one of this post. You can see little whiffs of hair standing up off his head, and the expression on his face is great.
I don't know what he thinks about the stuffed animals. Pretty soon, we can teach him how to do Eeyore tricks! :)
