First Hike in the Mountains

Rachel and I took David hiking in the mountains last week. It was a gorgeous day and we thoroughly enjoyed Alberta Falls and Dream Lake. David did well the whole day. He was a real mountain baby because the day included eating and getting changed outside. Don't know what bothered the little guy about that day because he cried nonstop for an hour and a half once we got home...could have overdone it or maybe he got a little bit of altitude sickness. After some sleep he was back to his regular baby self, though, which we were thankful for! We'll absolutely do it again:) Oh, and while we were enjoying the view, a friendly chipmunk came to ask us for some food. Not shy at all, he climbed all over us...and he definitely knew what the rustle of a bag meant! He REALLY liked the almonds we gave him:) Rachel said he was the biggest chipmunk she has ever seen...wonder why that is? One day David will like those things for sure!
