| The pure joy of licking his first beater! |

Jonah was schedule to have his 1 year check-up prior to leaving on our Christmas trip to Texas and then on to Nebraska for Faithwalkers. I really didn't want to do that to him! So, I cancelled it and he had it on January 26, 2012...so these are really his 13 month stats:)
Height: 29.5 in.
Weight: 18 lbs. 8 oz.

What Jonah is doing as a 1 year old!
- walking, arms up, wide legs, and very wobbly and cute!
- talking, ("mama", "dada", "uh-ah", "ho(t)", "yu(ck)", "mmmm"....(moo), "meea" (meow), "baba" (his endearing term for anything he loves (his blankey, pacifier, "bobo" this little stuffed monkey one of Amy's friends gave us)
- learning "blanket time", where he needs to stay on a blanket with some toys and books until I say he's all done. He knows the "all done" sign and has started using it right away when I put him on the blanket...smart little guy;)

- crawling up stairs (yikes!)
- SNUGGLING! He just started doing this which makes me SOOO happy! He has never liked to snuggle, but I learned how to trick him into it. I drape his beloved blanket over my shoulder and he lays his head right down! I've started doing this before every nap and night time sleep:)

- growing teeth! He has 3 of his 4 molars poking through! That explains his fevers and wanting to be held all day certain days:)
- dancing! He loves music and will beebop along even to my singing:)
