Davidisms

I thought I would record a few cute things David has said lately so I don't forget!  Lately, we have been teaching him people's "full names."  So, here is what he said:

Us: "What is David's full name?"
David: "David Awwen Yetwin!"  (David Allen Letvin)
Us:  "What is Dad's full name?"
David: "Peter Awwen Yetwin!" (Peter Allen Letvin)
Us: "What is Grandpa's full name?"
David: "Craig Awwen Yetwin!" (Craig Allen Letvin)
Us: "What is Mama's full name?"
David: "Mama Awwen Yetwin!" (Mama Allen Letvin)

Pretty good reasoning skills, I'd say:)

David will occasionally ask where his house is.  We then go through the explanation that we sold our house when we moved from CO to ND.  Since we are staying with Grammie and Grandpa, that is our house too for now.  We went through this driving home the other day and David said, "Mama and Dada, we should ask God, 'God, may we have a new house, please?'"

Grammie bought David a few warm outfits a few weeks ago.  Just out of the blue a few days later when we were doing errands around town, David said, "Mama, Grammie bought you some new clothes so you can go to winter with Mama!"

ALL day long the past few days, I hear these phrases in David's cute little toddler voice:
"Hi, Mama, my name is David!"
"Hi, Mama, how are you doing this morning?"
"Mama, when you talk to somebody, you say, 'it was nice to meet you!'"

David has a toy phone which he brought out for the first time in a long time last night.  As he was playing with it, this is what I overheard him saying,
"My phone is ringing!  Hi, Auntie Rachel, how are you this morning?  Good. It was nice to meet you, Auntie Rachel!  Amen!"

This is such a fun age:)
