David will sometimes run up to me, lift up my shirt, and say, "Is your baby broder moving?!", while putting his hands on my tummy for about 3/4 of a second and then he runs off to whatever it is he was doing.
Things we like to hear David say:
~ "Bye, bye! See you toyater!" He combines the words 'tonight' and 'later' to make the David word "toyater!"
~ He has started being redundant in his past tense: "I putted it on!"; "I peeded in the potty!"; "Teddy fallded down on the floor!"; "I doed it all by myself!";
~ This is what we hear at meal times: "I yike it so much!"; "Yanks for making some supper for me, Mama!"; "Who maded the cereal for me, Mama?"; "I would yike some LOTS of grapes, please!"
~Our little boy is very thankful these days and it warms my heart to hear him say "yank you" for nearly everything I do for him during the day. "Yanks for helping me wif my pants, Mama!"; "Yanks for playing at the park wif me, Mama!"; "Yanks for juice, Mama!"
~"Should we wead a book togeder, Mama?"; "Do you want to pway hide and seek wif me, Mama?"
~"Mama, I'm gonna hide in the closet! Do you want to find me, Mama?"
~He randomly said this at breakfast the other morning and hasn't mentioned it since : "What is your favorite animal, Mama? My favorite animal is a tiger!"
We went to a pumpkin patch a few weekend ago. David's favorite thing there was a John Deer tricycle with a trailer! Tractors and trailers are a frequent subject around here. Today on the way to church, he asked my if cars pulled trailers and was wondering where the "hooks" were on all the cars we saw on the road.
