Climbing stairs

David is getting to be quite the expert at climbing and "unclimbing" stairs:) He does NOT like to fall so he is ever so careful when he comes down. He needs to get used to falling if he is gonna get the walking thing down:)

I also thought I'd tell you some of David's new tricks. He can wave 'bye-bye' now, something he learned from the book "Pat the Bunny." In fact, when he sees that book alot of times, he instantly starts waving. We have to coax him to do the 'right' trick on every page and he rushes to get to the last page so he can wave. Incidentally, the sign for 'bye-bye' also means "all done" for David. We have been teaching him signs for "all done" and "more" for months now, but waving is what he knows so he uses it for everything. He is an expert pointer as well. He fiercely points at everything and wants to know the name for it. He knows the difference between eyes, nose and mouth and can point them out. My hair/ponytail is now one of his entertainments...apparently hair is really funny...probably because David doesn't really have any yet! The little hair he has is wispy, fuzzy and clear:) He also likes his Tupperware sippy cups from Grammie and Grandpa Letvin. We are working on putting the cup down when he is done instead of throwing it! Grown up cups are way cooler, though. Often times he'll refuse multiple offers of his sippy cup but if offered water from a glass, he is all for it! Also, he will turn his nose up at food but then if we eat it, he definitely wants to try. So, he pretty much eats whatever we are having!
