Growing baby

David's great Aunt Bev suggested that we repeat this picture every so often so those people far away can get a sense of how much he is growing. I think that's a great idea so here he is! David was a partying baby this weekend and he did great! Saturday night we went to Old C's (pizza place in Old Town Fort Collins) for a college graduation celebration for one of our friends. We were there for 2 1/2 hours and he just got passed around and kinda stole the show:) Today, we went to a friend's house for a BBQ and he was content to hang out outside and check out everything.

Earlier this week, we were hanging out with my good friend Tara who has a boxer named Phoebe. I was curious to see what David thought of dogs. Phoebe loves babies and is very gentle. She licked his face and his arms and he didn't even look at her! His face was totally neutral and he was staring up (ceiling and fans REALLY interest David) the whole time. Peter takes it as a sign that he likes dogs and promises that "doggie" is going to be David's first word...that I will break down and let him get a dog when I hear him say "doggie." We'll see about that!!!!

You can most definitely see the growth change!!!---A very good idea. "Doggie" maybe a good idea only when David is lot older, and you decide you need a furry, licky, family member that you enjoy cleaning up after and taking for walks, and finding a place to stay when you want to leave, etc. etc. In other words, never on a whim!!!

Little boys need a puppy! Think of how cute that would be! (Don't tell Matt I said that!)
