Aunts Laura and Amy come for a visit

David single-handedly provided the entertainment this past weekend when Amy and Laura came for a visit. Peter and I enjoyed when we were driving in the car. He and I would be saying something or asking the aunts a question and we would get no response. Looking in the back seat, we would see both aunts bent intently over David in his carseat, so enthralled with the little guy they had no idea we were talking to them! He had no trouble stealing the show!

I have to admit that he is very fun to watch. He is making more faces and smiling often now. Peter was playing with him by swinging him upside down and he was smiling SO big! I guess it's good that he already likes his dad's rough-housing, although it makes his mama nervous (even though she tries really hard not to be)!

Both Laura and Amy liked to carry David in his baby bijork (as Laura renamed his baby carrier). Laura says he should be spoiled because he is so cute and Amy says everything he does is cute (everything!) We took him out to eat for the first time and he liked it. He was a little bit fussy but I think that's because he wanted to try some of our food but we wouldn't let him.

Wow! This is cool! It will be fun to keep up with the changes and these little ones change so quickly. Now when Great-Grandpa Dan and Great-Grandma Marian come to visit me, all the news and photos will be here in one place. Great idea! Do you expect to post some of the earlier photos, too? Are you planning something special for your First Mother’s Day? I am so glad for you guys that everything is going so well after that bit of a scary start. And I love seeing the photos. Thanks! My love to all three of you! Auntie Brenda
