"you got a bonked on the swing!"

Our poor poor little boy:(  Peter was showing our house last night while I was in the backyard playing with David.  He was pushing me on our wooden porch swing and fell forward, landing teeth first into the edge of the swing.  Trauma all around...both to David's poor little mouth and face and to me and Peter as parents.  The swing has too David-sized front teeth marks on it.  Three of his front teeth just got jammed right up into his jaw.  His whole little face is puffy and black and blue and I'm not entire sure just WHERE the top of his teeth are???  Just looking at these pictures makes me want to cry for the poor little guy.  He is a trooper, though, and has been doing alright (better than me about the whole thing, really).  Of course, this happened on a Friday night, so we took him to the ER, where the doc told us we'd have to wait until Monday to get into an oral surgeon (I was hoping they had an on-call dentist or specialist for such cases).  He has been pretty miserable tonight, more so since anytime the accident happened.  Hope the little munchkin can sleep ok tonight and get through tomorrow alright.

On a happier note, we sold our house today!  We both close on it and leave Fort Collins, CO to move to Grand Forks, ND on July 28th.  Just 11 short days away.  What an answer to prayer!  We had been praying that we would sell our house before our move and God said yes!  Just another affirmation from Him that this move is His will for our family.

Those pictures make me so sad for little David. I hope it is healing and he is doing ok. Very traumatic for you and Peter too :(

I'm so glad you sold your house so quickly! It is SUCH a nice house, I knew it wouldn't take long.

On to new adventures in ND!
