God's beautiful Alaska!
This is old news but I wanted to write some of it down before I forget. Peter and I went on an amazing Alaskan cruise with his parents, Chris and Craig, and his brother Paul and sister Rachel. Chris and Craig were celebrating their 30th anniversary and very very generously took us all on a cruise! I'm also happy that they would want to celebrate their anniversary with their kids:) And, since we both have the best parents in the entire world, my parents graciously drove to Colorado all the way from Texas to watch David for the entire 8 or 9 days we were gone. PLUS, my sister Amy was here visiting from Arkansas and decided to stay to help watch David and to spend some time visiting with my parents. I know, we are spoiled:) David did well while we were gone and he loved learning the word "Alaska." He thought it was funny and whenever he would get sad that we were gone, Grandma Elvi would ask him where we were. He would reply, "on a big boat to Ayaska!" and those magic words made him feel better.

So pretty! And that boat is ginormous! I want to go on a big boat to Ayaska too!
We had so much fun staying with David David and Aunt Amy!
Hi Anna--hope you don't mind the comment intrusion. I come via Laura's blog (we worked together). Just wanted to say two things. 1. David is such a cutie--Laura would always share with us such fun pictures and stories. 2. I think my husband and I might have taken a very similar cruise a few years ago. Either way we did go to Mendenhall Glacier. Alaska really is gorgeous, isn't it?
