David and I went to our church's fall carnival on Halloween night with some good friends of ours (Peter went hunting for elk:) David had a really good time and would have run all over the place if he was allowed to (he is a wanderer so I keep close tabs on him). There were LOTS of booths set up. One was a mini-golf game. He seemed very interested in it and intently watched the participants. I asked him if he'd like to try it and he nodded enthusiastically. So, we stood in line for a good while. Just to make sure, I asked him several times if he wanted to try it, to which he always nodded yes. I told the man running the booth that David would like to try. He gave me a surprised look and then asked me if David was able to stand! The man stood behind David with a tiny little club and helped him hit the golf ball three times. Then, David gave it a try alone and even hit the ball! It was pretty stinkin' cute to watch:) David got to pick a treat out of a candy bucket. The picture about shows him enjoying his reward for hitting the golf ball:)
He also got an animal balloon, (which he quickly took apart), jumped in the bounce house and refused to try cotton candy (which I certainly didn't push too hard:)
