Cellar hole with tunnel/pipe for draining water...hopefully no wet cellar for us!
This post is totally outdated, but I am glad to finally be getting
caught up a little bit (again:). We officially broke ground for our
house on June 16!! It has been amazing to watch what Peter has been
able to accomplish and for our house plans to be in the making instead
of just in our (and by "our", I mean mostly Peter's) heads! We are so
excited to be living on our land one day...it is so peaceful and
beautiful there! On a note of praise, we were so thankful to have the
Lord answer our prayers for a rural water grant to be approved! This
means that the state will pay for 75% of the cost of having rural water
installed (an estimated average cost of $30,000!) The remaining 25% will
be paid by us as a monthly fee on our water bill. This means that we
have next to $0 upfront cost, so that we will be able to build our house
and move to our land much much sooner! | | |

That is some nice looking dirt.
