The other night, I came home from working out at the gym just in time to say prayers with David and Peter before David went to bed. David eagerly gave me a big hug and then said, with some disgust in his voice, "Mama, why are your exercising clothes ALL WET?!"
Sometimes, David spits on his shirt while trying to spit his toothpaste into the sink. So, I tucked a hand towel into his collar and told him to wait while I went to check on a crying Jonah. As I was leaving the bathroom, David turned to look at himself in the mirror and said, "I look like an angel! I'm a little angel!" I walked back into the bathroom and David looked at me and said, "And now the big angel is gonna come bwush my teef!?"
The other morning, we were talking about bugs. I was asking him whether or not he liked all different sorts of bugs. During our conversation, I asked, "Do you like mosquitoes?" David said an emphatic, "NOooooo!" To which I replied, "Why don't you like mosquitoes?" David answered, "Because! They suck your blood and that is REAWY FWUSTWATING!"
Recently, whenever Peter tickles David, David will run to me and say, "Mama, will you save me?!" I'll then scoop him up and run away with him. The other morning, we were all hanging out on the bed as a family, and Peter started tickling David. David yelled out, "Mama, will you save me from certain disaster?!"
David, you are a character!!!!

These are so very enjoyable...and priceless! And I'm so glad you're recording them! Wonder if he'll still be thinking his mama is a big angel when he's like 16??? Hahaha!
