Jonah turned 2 weeks on Sunday, January 2. He had his two week check-up today, Thursday, January 6. His stats are:
Weight: 8 lbs. 8 oz. (36%)
Height: 21 in. (55%)
Head: 14.5 in. (40%)
We are having so much fun holding a newborn and getting to know Jonah. He has got to be about the most content baby in the world! Right now, as I type, he is lying on his tummy on a blanket sucking on his pacifier, perfectly happy to be where he is:) As of yet, he doesn't really have any fussy times of day. After he has been awake for a while, he will start fussing a bit. For him, it usually just means "swaddle me!" So, I will wrap him up super tight, tuck him away in his crib, and to sleepy land he goes! He spends most of his time sleeping. Typically, he is awake for an hour or two in the morning, an hour or so in the afternoon and another half hour to hour in the evenings. He also spontaneously smiles alot. David likes to help Jonah out by giving him his pacifier or showing him his toys. Kisses and hugs are also abundantly given:) Having two boys is a delight and holding a newborn is medicine to the soul!!!!

He has a lot of hair! I'm so glad he is such a content baby, and I hope he stays that way :) Can't wait to meet him!
That picture is so cute, I love it! I am glad that he is such a content baby, and I am amazed at how much he sleeps!! I hope he keeps this up. You are so right that holding a newborn is medicine to the soul.
