Filling in the blanks

I'm pretty sure I've never seen a more adorable picture!

I realize I haven't posted anything in a while. May has been a fun, busy month. Laura and Amy came to Colorado the first weekend in May and we went to a local dinner theatre to see "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers." It was worth the drive...well, I didn't drive of course, but if I needed to drive as far as they did to see it, I would have...it was excellent:) My Aunt Nori and cousin Bethany were able to join us, along with another good friend...it was very fun. Amy is staying with us this summer, which we are very excited about. A few days after she got here, I took a trip to Texas to visit family and friends. It was so good to see everybody.

David has now flown to Texas twice in his short little life. He is becoming such a charmer. Just before we left for our trip, he started knowing he is cute....and he definitely used that to his advantage while in Texas:) He now knows how to say "peanut butter", "milk", "more" and "all done" using sign language. Some of his talking words include "da" for "dog", "ah" for "eye", "dada" for "dad", and "hhhhaaa" for "hat. One of his most favorite new things to do is to "arrest" Amy. He crawls up to her, grabs both of her hands and uses his charm to force her to walk with him...and he does this mostly to her because she has yet to say "no" to his 'request.' He loves to walk...with someone else....with both hands being held....he really has no interest in walking alone yet...which is fine by me:)

Wednesday of last week (May 27), David had his 15 month check-up. "Ah-hum"....drum roll please...
Official pediatric scale weight: 16 lbs. 1 oz.
Official height: 29 in.
He's our little peanut!:)

It's funny to be so bundled up in May! David sure is getting tall! Keep up that growing!
